Radio Access Networks

Our engineers undertake all aspects of BTS/Node B/ EBTS/MTS equipment installation and commissioning, providing all necessary test certification/handover documentation.

Our installation and commissioning teams have led the way in the delivery of 3G/MBWA for a number of operators (direct) and via various vendors. We have also designed and deployed core and transport networks for various ISPs and wireless operators. We have worked with equipment vendors such as Cisco, Huawei, Radwin, Alvarion and Ruckus.

We are regarded as specialists in the field of Radio Access Networks delivery, owing to our trouble shooting abilities & the large number of sites delivered to date.

Digital Trunk Network

We have partnered with Vlatacom, a global leader in the design, planning, delivery, installation, and maintenance of TETRA networks. Vlatacom’s TETRA projects usually include other sub-projects such as the construction of antenna towers and power supply systems, as well as the design and implementation of optical and microwave communication networks.

TETRA supports various modes of communication among authenticated users while operating within the following internationally defined and licensed frequencies: 380 MHz – 400 MHz and 410 MHz – 430MHz.

Through a constellation of 8 satellites with a capacity of 84 Gbps deployed at Medium-Earth-Orbit (MEO), Maphisa Mbiba Trading delivers high bandwidth capacity to all parts of Southern Africa by utilizing a combination of remote spot beams. Each spot beam has a coverage of 700km diameter and 1.2 Gbps capacity. We provide a broad portfolio of innovative, field-proven, high capacity backhaul and IP solutions for leading telecommunications operators, public sector as well as corporate customers
